In the professional world, I consider myself a digital artist. I feel like that's the best way I can describe my skillset because of the variety of projects I work on. You'll notice the diversity with a quick glance at my portfolio (and if you like, drop me some feedback). I am a passionate life-long learner, especially when it comes to improving my digital toolbox.
As of the past few years, I primarily worked in user experience for software applications or games under the titles: UX Designer, UX Architect, Interaction Designer, Visual UI Designer, and even Product Owner. These projects ranged from video game interfaces, mobile apps, and desktop applications. I am constantly trying to improve my process from the time I speak to a client to fully comprehend a design problem, through providing concepts, wire-frames, and full workflows.
While the current focus of my career is user experience, my background is fundamentally in traditional art, graphic design, and environmental art for games. In my free time, I engage in drawing and painting, digital illustration, 3D modeling, and web design. Exercising my creativity in a variety of ways is an important part of keeping my skills sharp. Please let me know if you have any questions by contacting me at the email at the top of this page or view my resume for additional contact information.
Thanks for your time,
